A group has been started in the big city of Kawagoe,
Saitama Prefecture. This city has a population of 330,000
people and it is knows as Little Edogawa, reflecting the
heritage of the city as one belonging to the Edo period.
Old architectural buildings of that era still remain along
the main street of Kawagoe. This city is still steep in
traditions with lots of shrines and temples popping up
everywhere.
Even in the middle of the long Crea shopping street, there
are temples with graveyards lining along the streets.
Smells of incense still permeates through the streets.
This group was started in late 2008 and it meets
occasionally at 4:00 pm at a member's place at Kawagoe
Station. For directions and information, please email
Koji.
